Background: The Blanco Historic Resources Survey Team was established as a workshop type function of the Blanco Comprehensive Master Plan. The Plan was approved by the Blanco City Council on February 8, 2005.

Tasks: Identify, photograph, and prepare a record for those properties 50 years and older that are of historical significance and are located in and around the City of Blanco. This is a continuing program and as additional properties age and become part of the 50-year plus category, they will be included in the survey record.

Purpose: Develop and maintain a file of historical data pertaining to those properties in the Blanco area that are of historical significance.
